Assigned to 170 (Infrastructure Support) Engineer Group as a Senior Electrical and Mechanical Draughtsman in Feb 07, responsibilities included:
Managing a workforce of fourteen draughtsmen, ensuring that all work produced conforms to
recognised standards and is quality controlled using ISO 9001.
The fire safety and training of all personnel within three office buildings and two accommodation
blocks (approximately 70 personnel).
Training and testing all personnel within the regiment in map reading and navigation
(approximately 300 personnel).
Acting as a support representative for the wives and children of personnel when on operations,
dealing with various issues, ranging from hospitalised children to lost car keys. Arranging
functions and activities to keep morale high.
Served and Worked in the following locations:
Iraq (Mar 03 – Jun 03) responsibilities included:
Site reconnaissance to provide safe areas for the troops to camp
Bridge inspections
Liaising with the local population
Cyprus (Sep 02 – Dec 02) –Second in command, responsibilities include:
Over seeing twenty tradesmen carrying out the construction of the designs completed earlier in the year.

Afghanistan (Apr 02 – Jul 02)
In charge of 6 Draughtsmen working from an old Russian Barracks tasked with repairing and upgrading the infrastructure in Kabul and other operational areas.

Ran the drawing office and carried out drafting and design tasks throughout the Sovereign Base Areas.
Belize (May 01 – June 01)
Site reconnaissance in the jungle for a helicopter landing site and jungle research centre.
